In Belgium (Europe) since 1985, François Louant established his workshop in Sart d'Avril in 1993. The former stables of an ancient flour trade house dating from 1894 have been converted into a violin making workshop. Reaching the violin making workshop by car is easy via motorways E42 and E411 (15 minutes from Namur, 30 minutes from Liège-Loncin and 30 minutes from Auderghem-Brussels). Easy parking. See map on page "How to reach us". There is a regular bus link (line 16) from Namur or Hannut to Sart d'Avril (+/-200 meters from the workshop). |
